If you're planning to attend the Running of the Bulls festival in Spain, you may be wondering how you can get tickets.
You'll be happy to hear that the majority of the festival is absolutely free. All you need to do is arrive in the city! Once you arrive, you'll be able to enjoy the incredible street party and atmosphere for nothing. There are free concerts, dances, firework shows, and so much more, every day of the fiesta.
Some events, however, do require tickets. For example, you will need to buy tickets to bullfights. These seats are almost completely sold out by bullfight season ticket holders long before the fiesta begins, so very few tickets are available for purchase. Book your bullfight tickets here to get the seats you want before they sell out!
If you aren't running with the bulls this year, you can plan to watch the bull runs from above by purchasing a "balcony spot." Purchasing a balcony spot will give you a reserved front-row space to stand on a balcony overlooking the action below. Book your bull run balcony spots here to watch this iconic event from the safety of a balcony.
Alternatively, you can watch the bull runs from the Plaza de Toros, or the bullring arena. Although you likely won't catch much action involving the bulls from this viewpoint, you will get to watch the bulls enter their corrals, and you will also enjoy the post-bull run experience as heifers, or vaquillas, are released into the crowd of people who just survived the bull run. The vaquillas will jump over and flip unsuspecting runners in the arena from around 8:10am until around 9:30am. Book you tickets to watch the encierro from the Plaza de Toros here.
