Bloodless Bullfights - July 12th Recortes

On July 12th only, experience the incredible "bloodless bullfights" of Pamplona, also known as the "recortes". During this event, professional recortadores practice the ancient sport of bull-leaping, which has been practiced since the Minoan civilization of the Bronze Age.

This bullfight is a competition, in which "recortadores" compete for points by getting as close as possible to the bulls' horns while performing acrobatic leaps and somersaults over the bulls. No bulls are killed during this event.

This event starts at 11am and lasts until around 12:30pm.
